Barry Stubbs
Barry is a lifelong Southern Nevadan. He spent his early professional career of nearly 7 years in the escrow and title insurance field rising to Executive Vice President of First Title Insurance Company.
Business opportunities resulted in his entering the retail office products business in the Las Vegas Valley, primarily in a self-founded company known as Stubbs Office Products, operating in Nevada for over 14 years. The firm specialized in planning and designing furniture and equipment for installations in large commercial spaces; other responsibilities involved sales of general office supplies to major companies including local resort hotels.
Barry’s interest in real estate lead him to return to the title insurance and escrow field, where he has excelled in management and executive positions. He retired in 1988 as President of the Chicago Title Agency of Las Vegas. During this time, Barry’s dedication to his community and family led him to be very active in civic affairs such as the Boy Scouts of America, the Las Vegas Kiwanis Club (acting as President), and founding President of the Las Vegas Executive Association.
In 1988 Barry formed a real estate-based consulting company to act as the liaison between municipalities, large residential developers and federal agencies. The company grew with the addition of retired U.S. Bureau of Land Management Executive, Mike Ford, in 1999.
Barry is a consciences businessman and deeply understands the importance of giving back to our environment. Since 2000 Barry has functioned as Real Estate Projects Manager for the Nevada and Southwest Office of The Conservation Fund, a national non-profit conservation organization.
